My FAQs

Answering Your Questions
Angie listens to Stephan’s Answers

What kinds of results can I expect?

Your e-newsletter will likely increase client response. People glean the information they want from your articles and make the decision to remain with you.

Do you write the content yourself, or outsource?

All of your e-newsletter content is done by me.

Can you do the designs, too?

No, I work with my designer or work with your designer if you have one.

How do you set-up the publication of my newsletter?

I collaborate with you and we set up a set time each month to publish your e-newsletter. That day will not vary unless you reschedule it.

What can I expect working with you?

I will do all the work each month to produce your e-newsletter. This includes conferencing with you to determine the subject for the upcoming e-newsletter and any promotions you wish to push.

What is your process?

I have a process designed to get the e-newsletter ready for publication while minimizing the amount of time you need to spend on it.

My Process:

Step 1. You and I Determine What This Month’s Subject Is.

We’ll collaborate on Zoom or on the phone. This usually takes about thirty to forty minutes. We discuss your goals for this month’s message and the results you would like to see.

You share the idea you wish to convey to your audience, why it matters to them, and how it will affect them when they implement the advice. I’ll give feedback and ask clarifying questions. You’ll share the benefits you see the clients gaining.

Step 2. I Do Background Research Work

I review our conversation and do additional research when needed. I clarify any problems with you.

Step 3. Writing the First Draft

Stephan writing an e-newsletter article.

Using the information I’ve gathered, I write the first draft using your voice and point of view while conveying your persona and personality. I review and revise it a day later while considering the goals and outcomes you want. I edit and refine it later. This process provides you the highest quality writing.

Step 4. You Approve the Edited Draft

I submit my draft to you. You take a few days to review it and make notes wherever you see a need for tweaks or changes. You send it back explaining why you want the changes. Or, we can review your feedback together by just arranging a phone or Zoom conversation.

What are your rates?

My e-newsletter rate is $750 per newsletter. This is what you’ll pay per month for one e-newsletter. Twice a month will be $1500 each month. I find that invoicing you quarterly works best for most clients.

What kind of turnaround time can I expect?

I will schedule our interview at least two weeks before the e-newsletter’s publication day each month. The e-newsletter will always be published to your clients on the day we agree each month.

How do I go about hiring you?  Do I have to sign a contract?

Yes, I require a contractual arrangement with you. Your signature, accepting my e-newsletter proposal, is our binding contract.

Do you ask for money up front?

Yes, Since this is a retainer arrangement, I ask for the entire quarter’s fee–$2,250 at the beginning of each quarter when doing one e-newsletter each month.

What programs do you use? Are you able to work with a Mac and a PC?

I work on a PC using Microsoft Word and PDF. I have the 2016 version so it can be easily converted to the Mac programs that are compatible with Microsoft programs.

Can you show me any samples of your work?

You’ll find samples of my writing on the website in my information packet.

Do you have any other writing specialties?

Yes. I can do all lead-generation content pieces and marketing content on SM sites. I can be a valuable member of your marketing team.

I am particularly good at writing video scripts, e-mails, case studies, and special reports).

What sets you apart from everyone else?

I’ve been through the process of identifying my limiting and blocking beliefs and discovering what methods work for me to turn them around to positive and progress promoting beliefs. I am also aware that this process is never done. It’s ongoing and must always be mindfully worked on.
